White caps are no match for our fine entry hulls. With a 19 degree deadrise at the transom and a compressed cushion of air in the wing-deck, a potentially choppy ride is transformed into a pleasant cruise for you and your passengers.
The 600C Cat runs a foil between the demi-hulls to improve economy at cruise. It delivers a higher cruising speed whilst minimising fuel consumption.
The recessed front wheel assembly in the 600C is mounted within the hull between the demi-hulls. This is design is unique to Stryda craft. By keeping the front wheel assembly behind the stem, it results in a far superior hull – especially in heavy seas as it constantly maintains buoyancy and lift. This works because the bow wheels are prevented from catching and dragging the nose of the vessel underwater in the troughs between wave crests. Recessed front wheel assembly also improves the turning radius in land mode (radius is 10.6 metres).
